Parking suspensions and dispensations

We are authorised to suspend parking restrictions temporarily, to allow residents or businesses to park under special circumstances.

If you are planning a public event, such as a street party or fair, you must contact us to discuss your parking requirements.

Suspension

Where specific parking bays are suspended from normal use, to allow a vehicle to park for an agreed purpose.

Dispensation

Where a vehicle is allowed to park in a bay or on a yellow line for a short period, without the need for a suspension.
